Check-in is from 4pm on Monday to Saturday.
Check-out from the site is any time up to 10am on your day of departure.
The keys for your accommodation will be in the key safes attached to the outhouse opposite the reception/kitchen area. Your key code will be emailed to you upon booking.
Parking is available in designated parking areas in the farm yard. We kindly ask that you keep all access and entrance ways clear in case the emergency services need to gain access to the site. There is also farm machinery being used within the yard on a daily basis.
Along with normal facilities such as toilets (with disabled access), showers, washing up facilities and a kitchen area (by the reception), BBQs, fire pit and a hammock are also available for your use. We provide 1 bag of charcoal. If you expect to do lots of barbecuing, you can buy more from reception. We provide 1 bag of logs and kindling for the firepit and wood burning stoves on-site.
Each Shepherd’s Hut contains all essential cooking utensils, an electric fridge, a hob and a kettle. Guests staying in bell tents have exclusive use of the Safari Tent.
If you are bringing small children, we can supply a cot and/or highchair if needed. Please contact us in advance so we can make sure these are available upon your arrival.
The Shepherds’ Huts are fitted with electric sockets and lights. The Bell Tents do not have an electricity supply in them, but do have battery operated lanterns and fairy lights.
There is a hair dryer in the toilet block next to the kitchen area.
Wifi is available in the area around the kitchen, reception and Hayloft venue, but we encourage guests to consider switching off from online life while they are at Highway Hill if they can!
Our prices are per unit and include all bed linen, towels, plus torches and lanterns for your night-time walk to the toilet.
We provide all cooking equipment and implements, every-day crockery and cutlery, tea/coffee-making equipment, mugs, wine glasses and tumblers.
Guests are also supplied with tea, coffee and sugar, salt and pepper, and oats for your morning porridge.
Simply put, we recommend that you just bring your clothes, toiletries, food and drinks plus any games you may wish to use.
Due to the fact that there are a lot animals on the farm, we do not allow pets including emotional support animals. There may also be children on the site and not all children/parents are comfortable with dogs. We thank you for your understanding in this matter.
